Special E is a unique green business that rescues items which are left over from "Special Events" such as weddings, banquets, parties, fundraisers, and galas, then recycles them in ways that help our planet and people in need. We also collect extra materials left behind from meetings, conferences, trade shows, photo shoots, TV and movie sets...and put them to good use.
We developed this service in response to the growing demand from both companies and individuals who are looking to make the events they are planning more environmentally-friendly and socially-responsible.
Following an event, the items we rescue are delivered to homeless shelters, food banks, soup kitchens, missions, churches, temples, schools, hospitals, nursing homes, charities, relief agencies, and non-profit organizations.
In addition to our humanitarian efforts, we're protecting the environment by reducing the amount of materials that end up in a local landfill. What's more, some of the items we rescue are being repurposed by artisans into other useful products. Proceeds from the sale of these goods will be donated to environmental organizations and programs to safeguard endangered wildlife and the habitats they live in.
Each year, thousands of meetings & events take place throughout the world. Rescuing the excess from such programs can go a long way towards helping our planet and the people (and animals) that inhabit it.
